The HS1C is a full size interlock switch in a rugged die-cast aluminum housing that also includes a locking solenoid. When mounting the key on a movable door, and the switch on a machine body, the door can be mechanically locked when closed. The door is unlocked by a solenoid lock-release signal from a PLC or other source after the machine has stopped. In the event of power failure or for machine maintenance, the door can be unlocked using a special tool.
HS3A Non-contact RFID safety interlock switches perform the same functions as standard mechanical safety interlock switches, but are designed to be used in applications where non contact is desired between the switch and its actuating key. It's designed for used in areas where a high level of tamper resistance and safety is required. It is suitable for almost anywhere where safety and reliability is the utmost concern.
HS7A-DMC Non-contact magnetic safety interlock switches perform the same functions as standard mechanical safety interlock switches, but are designed to be used in applications where non contact is desired between the switch and its actuating key. It's also being used where space is at a premium.
HS7A-DMP Non-contact magnetic safety interlock switches perform the same functions as standard mechanical safety interlock switches, but are designed to be used in applications where non contact is desired between the switch and its actuating key. It's also being used where space is at a premium. The slim profile makes it easy to mount in locations out of the way of personnel and machine operation, reducing the possibility of damage or misalignment.
The IDEC SE2L safety laser scanner is the smallest in the world, while outperforming most of the competition. Features include a 270-degree sensing angle, a 5m safety protection zone, a 20m warning zone and customizable protection patterns. Master/slave functionality allows one SE2L scanner to act as master and communicate with up to three other scanners. The safety controller only needs to communicate with the master, reducing the required number of input and communication channels on the controller.
The HR2S series safety relays provide users increased functionality and flexibility when designing system to meet safety requirements. HR2S safety relays are compact modules designed to allow machine operation only when all safety controls such as Interlock Switches, E-stop switches, Light Curtains, etc. are functioning properly and aren’t reporting hazardous conditions. The HR2S feature removable terminals for easy wiring and installation, and time delay circuit.
HR1S safety control relays are compact units designed to monitor safety input devices, which allow machine operation only when all safety controls are functioning properly and hazardous conditions are not detected. Supported safety devices include E-Stops, interlock switches and non-contact safety switches.
Force-guided relays are key electromechanical switching components, providing a failsafe within safety circuits and detecting failures such as contact welding or damage to the contact spring failure. Often used in combination with elevator controls, interlock switches, light curtains and emergency stop switches, these relays are crucial in safety control applications.
HE2B redundant, or double basic switches have multiple contacts for extra reliability, and meet all major robotics industry requirements. Off-On-Off functionality provides a high level of safety based on human behavioral studies which determine personnel may squeeze OR let go when presented with a panic situation.
The HE1B is small, lightweight and highly reliable. It is ideally suited for use in robotic teaching pendants and complies to major industry regulations. It provides a high level of safety based on human behavioral studies which determine personnel may squeeze OR let go when presented with a panic situation.
The HE3B enabling switch mounts into a standard 16mm panel cut out, and it has most of the same features as IDEC's other enabling switches. The Off-On-Off functionality provides a high level of safety based on human behavioral studies which determine personnel may squeeze OR let go when presented with a panic situation.
The HE5B is small, easy to mount and highly reliable. It is ideally suited for use in robotic teaching pendants and complies to major industry regulations. It provides a high level of safety based on human behavioral studies which determine personnel may squeeze OR let go when presented with a panic situation.
HE6B is ergonomically designed to work where human interaction is required to turn on a machine or robot while the user is in a potentially dangerous area. Typically enabling switches are installed in grip switches or pendant stations. This 3-position enabling switch not only turns a machine on when pressed, but also turns machines off when over pressed or squeezed, as long as the switch is installed correctly in an adequate safety circuit. Two contacts are provided so that even if one contact fails, the other can disable machine operation. Functionality is the same as all previous HE devices and meets all stringent requirements to meet IEC standard 60947-5-8 for this class of products. A waterproof rubber boot, available in yellow or black, provides IP65 protection.
HE2G series grip switches designed for use as deadman switches by second operators in robotic cells. The Off-On-Off functionality provides a high level of safety based on human behavioral studies which determine personnel may squeeze OR let go when presented with a panic situation. The HE2G is very compact and provide a comfortable hold. It's also very light operating force to ensure worry-free operation. Additional control buttons such as momentary pushbuttons, E-stop and/or key selector switch are also available.
HE1G-L grip switches are available with or without a built-in Emergency Stop switch, and were designed for use as deadman switches by second operators in robotic cells. The Off-On-Off functionality provides a high level of safety based on human behavioral studies which determine personnel may squeeze OR let go when presented with a panic situation. Compare to the standard HE1G, the HE1G-L has lighter operating force to On position.

The Off-On-Off functionality provides a high level of safety based on human behavioral studies which determine personnel may squeeze OR let go when presented with a panic situation.
Conventional light curtains had dead zone where there are no beam axis at both ends. With SE4D the first beam axis placed right along the edges, detection can be performed along the entire area. Up to 3 sets (emitter/receiver) can be connected in series to cover L or U shaped configurations, or to guard both the front and back of a machine.
